Warren has had quite a history up to date. Originating in Sri Lanka in late 90’s he established himself as a DJ serving with Good Groove Entertainment. While he was at Good Groove Entertainment Warren was called to hold a club residency in exquisite Meedhupaaru Resort in Maldives.He served as a resident DJ for a year in Maldives.

In early 2000 he moved to Dubai to hold a Club residency. Soon afterwards in 2005 after winning 3rd in the Heineken Thirst House DJ Competition in Dubai he was on everyone’s radar & put him on the map. Later in year 2006 he shot straight to stardom by winning 3rd place in Middle East Palme DJ Competition and was labeled as the number 3 DJ in the Middle East region in 2006.
As he was at the height of his career, he moved to Melbourne for good to begin his next chapter…

A well-spoken, articulate & a professional DJ with a great attitude, excellent communication skills & a good sense of timing and co-ordination, his ability to stay calm while performing & working to strict deadlines as well as interacting with the clients face to face or through phone is brilliant. His mastery in multi skilling & networking paved the way to perform at The Australian Design Awards 2011. Same year he had the privilege of playing at The Grand Final Footy After Party 2011. One of the high lights of year 2013 was producing the show & performing alongside The Winner of Australia’s Got Talent – Andrew De Silva. During this period he has covered many Weddings/Birthdays/Uni Balls/High school debs/Dinner Dances/Concerts/Community events & many functions with different clubs & associations.

With humble beginnings to a successful international career now Warren has ventured into mobile DJing joining one of the most respected International DJ companies in globe called UDDJs International. Headed by Warren UDDJs Melbourne was launched in 2014. He built a young & professional team & now leading a strong team that works with him not only catering to mobile DJing but also for sound & lighting productions & artist management. Warren always looking for new talent & always on the look out to provide an opportunity to up and coming DJs who like to learn as he is passionate about teaching & passing his skills on to the next generation.

Year 2016 was a special year for Warren. While his DJ, lighting, sound & event business took off from strength to strength he was nominated for an award at Serendib Multicultural Awards in Australia Melbourne. After the preliminary rounds & contending with many talented nominees, it was no surprise when Warren won the Entertainer of The Year Award 2016.

With the arrival of Covid-19, DJs around the world suddenly found themselves without any gigs or events to play at, causing financial struggles for many of them. But in the face of this challenge, entrepreneur Warren saw an opportunity to create something new and helpful. He decided to create an online platform, called Lankanland, where DJs could perform and connect with audiences remotely. Through live streaming, DJs could perform from the safety of their own homes and reach a global audience who could enjoy their music from the comfort of their own homes. Giving DJs a space to perform and earn a living while social distancing measures were in place, Lankanland quickly became a popular platform for music-lovers around the world to discover and enjoy new tunes. Despite the challenges of the pandemic, Warren was able to create something positive and useful, benefiting both DJs and music fans alike.

When Lankanland was launched, Warren saw it as an opportunity to create his own music and collaborate with other artists. He started by exploring different genres and experimenting with various sounds to find his unique style. Through the platform, he connected with other musicians who shared similar interests and began collaborating with them.

Warren’s passion for music and determination to hone his skills led to the creation of several tracks that garnered recognition and popularity on Lankanland. His success on the platform also opened doors for opportunities to perform live shows and engage with a wider audience.

Overall, the launch of Lankanland provided Warren with the resources, network, and motivation to pursue his passion for music and achieve his goals as an artist.
